Sakin Biyik - Captain
Sakin is 35 years old and was working at sea in Turkey and Egypt up until 1989 as crew and chef . He has had a Yacht master licence since 2000 after which time he worked both with Charter and Private Boats as Captain. In 2002 he became the Captain of m/s Blue Piranha and over the past 5 years has proved to be an exemplary leader with an outstanding reputation for his customer care and seamanship. He speaks very good English and is married to Isim, a teacher in Marmaris.
Cagdas Varlikoglu - First Mate
Cagdas is 29 years old. Born in Germany he came to Turkey when he was 8 years old. He has been working on Boats for 7 years and will be taking his Yachtmaster examination at the end of the 2007 season. He has been with Blue Piranha for the last 3 years working alongside Sakin. His has great interpersonal skills with special attention to the clients needs. His respectful, courteous personality makes the holidaymaker feel totally relaxed and pampered. He speaks fluent English and is engaged to be married to Damla in spring 2008.
Evren Erol - Crew
He is 26 years old and worked on his families land before coming to the sea. Responsible for the housekeeping , the standards of cleaning on the boat and laundry are second to none. He does an excellent job. He speaks a little English and is a bachelor.
Izzet Kayihan - Cook
Aged 25 years Izzet has been a Cook since the age of 15. Over the past 3 years he has spent the winters working as Chef in 5 star Hotels such as Majic Life in Marmaris, Pamukkale Polat Hotel and Club Hiera Polis in Denisli. His food is traditional Turkish with Mediterranean /Italian influence. During the 2 years he has been Chef on the Blue Piranha he has wowed the guests with his culinary skills. Always willing to cater for special requests and with a very large menu list one leaves the table begging him to stop. With very little English his broad smile more than compensates. He is also a qualified musician on the Turkish Guitar and if coaxed will serenade you into the early hours.
